The Elko County Library is bringing back Blind Date with a Book for the month of February to celebrate Library Lovers’ Month. Are you tired of reading the same old authors? Do you need a sense of adventure? Then go the Library and check out Blind Date with a Book!

This adult program offers all genres. Fiction, Non-Fiction, Western, Mystery, Science Fiction, Biographies, and Romance novels will be available for check out. The only cates is the books will be wrapped and you won’t know what you have checked out. Take the book home, unwrap it, and start reading.

Breaking Winds Bassoon Quartet

There are lots of resources and directions to go as you start a new business. START SMART! This live presentation is coming to four Nevada locations, free of charge

Anyone who is considering owning their own business is encouraged to invest 2.5 hours inside the classroom to learn critical first-step basics that will save you both money and time. Whether you’re looking to create a job for yourself, turn a hobby into a revenue stream, or open a retail site, this workshop will improve your chances to succeed. Discover who your local experts are that are both legitimate non-profit agencies, and who offer their services at no cost to you. Follow up one-on-one counseling appointments are available to all who attend, at no cost.

After School Crafts

Join Elko County Library for some creative fun with “After-School Crafts @ Your Public Library.” These crafts will be held every first and third Wednesday of the month through April 18th. Preregistration is required and there is no cost. This program is designed for children 5 and older. Drop by the library to register, or call 738-3066 for additional information.
