Take Pride in Your Community

This year’s Take Pride in Your Community: Clean-Up, Green-Up, an Prescription Drug Round-Up Event will be held Saturday, April 28th. Thank you to the generous donors’ help, last year’s event removed 419 tons of wast from our community by more than 1000 volunteers.

Join Elko County Library for some creative fun with “After-School Crafts @ Your Public Library.” These crafts will be held every first and third Wednesday of the month through April 18th. Eveningstarts in the Western Folklife Center’s G Three Bar Theater with local youthperformers and special guests at 7:30 pm; Andy Hedges takes the stage at 8:00pm with two 45-minute sets and an intermission. Event is in collaboration withthe Northeastern Nevada Museum’s annual Halleck Bar Party! Often an invitedartist at the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, Hedges’ varied repertoireincludes classic cowboy poetry recitations, obscure cowboy songs, dust bowlballads and blues.
